Changed some of the lettering and printed it on this lovely lovely recycled paper
Also found these awesome tracing paper envelopes

Thought it would be nice to have a little sort of packaged with my business card and a pug post card in them.

Might even sell the little package in the shop when it's all finished and that..

Mock up self-promotional zine

Used my lovely little sewing machine to stitch this together
It's only a rough one, still going to work into some of the images and play around with image placement and that.
Also didn't really how rubbish the paper was, I bought loads of different colours in it as well.

You can see the images on the other side! Stupid Rhymans..

Also I like the idea of images bleeding onto the next page like I did with the ink but I can't work out how to not get a border when I print. Is it even ruddy possible??

P.S. please ignore the website address, I've bought the domain name but have NO idea how to like..attach it to my cargo collectice yet. Sigh

I am very very stuck and my tutor told me to look into other peoples collections

and that. Going to photograph some of my other 'collections' as well

Ephemera: items designed to be useful or important for only a short time, especially pamphlets, notices, tickets, etc.

I keep all my tickets in a little Jack Daniels box

And yeah, I've seen some awful films...

I haven't even finished drawing all my shoes but I've now come to the end of my sketch book and am on shoe number 36.
I'm a little bit disappointed because I so wanted to scan them all in and make them look super super neat and put them all together but my scanner is dreadful and loads of them need re-working.

So for now here are some photos of some of the more finished ones.

They're a lot more simple in terms of line and that than I usually draw so I'll probably end up working into all of them way more.

I've ditched the watercolours and gone back to my friends ink pot and dip pen.

The last couple of days have involved me getting up, sitting at my desk and drawing shoe after shoe after shoe.

I'm currently on shoe number 25 of 40(ish).

Change of plan maybe

After doing my first 'list' entirely in watercolour, moving on to using photoshop and that for my text doesn't really feel right.
Same goes for the dogs I started doing.

Starting to think I should just paint the entire thing in watercolour so it all ties in.

I do quite like using watercolour I just don't know if it looks a bit too washy for me..

P.S. Having to take photos of my sketchbook as my scanner is dreadful
